 Who needs a Romantic Getaway? 

Judging from the stories we have heard from our guests over the years, just about everyone!  The young lady who wanted to surprise her boyfriend for his birthday.  The couple from Florida who celebrated their thirty-fifth wedding anniversary.  The empty-nesters who decided to renew their vows in Helen.  And of course, the hundreds of Honeymoon couples who have parked their car, decorated with “Just Married” well wishes, in the driveway of one of our cabins.

A cabin in the North Georgia Mountains is the perfect place for a Romantic Getaway at any time of the year.  All of our cabins are surrounded by nature- most have wooded views, but some have mountain vistas, creekviews, or even a pond.  Most have screened in porches to further ensure your privacy while dining alfresco, or relaxing in the hot tub.  Some cabins have open decks so you can enjoy the stars at night…let us know your preferences and we will be glad to assist you in choosing the cabin that has the amenities that will make your Romantic Getaway truly memorable.

We have several styles of cabins, for every taste and budget.  There are basic, cozy cabins that simply have and indoor Jacuzzi and a fireplace (in season, October through March) to snuggle by.  Or how about a cabin with an indoor Jacuzzi for that champagne bubble bath, AND an outdoor hot tub to enjoy the sounds of nature as you soak?  Speaking of Jacuzzis- some may say that heart-shaped ones are corny or passe- but they really are the most comfortable to sit in, because of their shape!   However, we have many styles and shapes for you to choose from.

Many of our cabins now feature outdoor fireplaces or firepits, which can be used year round.  Sit by the fire, make S’mores and recall that moment you first met…

When you decide to venture out of the cabin, there is so much to do!  Take a leisurely hike up to Anna Ruby Falls, or take the trail that winds around Unicoi Lake.  Tube down the Chattahoochee, if the weather is warm-we recommend Cool River Tubing.  Or simply wander the shops in Helen, and bring home a memento of your visit. Pick up some chocolate- covered strawberries or delicious fudge at one of the candy shops.  Round out the day with a sumptuous meal at the Troll Tavern or Cafe International, and watch the Chattahoochee River roll by.

Back at the cabin, you can watch a movie, surf the net (most cabins have wi-fi), or play a game.  We have several cabins that have pool tables or air hockey.
